Ryan Pizzo, Randolph Fitness Director/Functional Exercise Specialist and Physical Therapy Aide

My name is Ryan Pizzo and I am DMC Athletics and Rehabilitation's Fitness Director/Functional Exercise Specialist and Physical Therapy Aide in our Randolph facility. I grew up playing almost every major sport. From Ice Hockey, Soccer, Basketball and Baseball I developed a very active lifestyle at a relatively young age. It wasn't until a few years ago that I realized how important it is for a healthy lifestyle to always be on the move. I became a Certified Personal Trainer through an organization called AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) in 2009 after spending two years training under my father's supervision and under my own guidance. After becoming certified as a trainer, it opened my eyes to all aspects that are important to helping someone else adopt a healthy lifestyle. These aspects are proper nutrition, strength training, cardiovascular training, flexibility training and the recovery process.

What I have to offer to my clients is an uncanny ability to teach fitness and proper nutrition in a way that can relate to any individual. I note the importance of each aspect of adopting a healthy lifestyle and give my clients the knowledge that they need to continue to do so when they leave my hands. A healthy lifestyle is something that must remain engrained in the mind of each of my clients on a daily basis whether they are in the gym or not, and that is what I am here to do. I am a lifestyle coach and always lend my hands out to help in any way possible whether that be motivating a client during a rough time in their life or giving them the confidence to achieve those last two reps of a set that could be the difference in change rather than remaining the same.

As a Functional Exercise Specialist at DMC Athletics & Rehabilitation my goals are primarily to help my clients achieve a level of fitness that enables them to be able to function at 100% of their ability everyday of their lives. Keeping this my primary goal for my clients allows them to complete daily tasks more efficiently, enjoy playtime with their kids, excel in their given sport as an athlete, be fit to stay happy, confident and most importantly, HEALTHY. I empower my clients by keeping them positive and wanting more from themselves every day.

At the end of the day, you get what you give. My job is to guide my clients to be efficient, safe and effective and to constantly reassure them that they are on their way to a healthier "you". I will be your motivator and will always do my best to make sure that you are getting the absolute BEST from yourself every single time we meet. So, with a bit of HARD WORK, DEDICATION AND CONSISTENCY we can work together to create an environment that will not only have you at your best physically, but also MENTALLY and EMOTIONALLY.

"The MIND is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you REALLY BELIEVE 100 PERCENT." - Arnold Schwarzenegger
